Well after making several attempts to change the picture on this blog, I'm giving up for today.
Just thought I would do a quick update on what'z go'in on with The Henry.
Connor and Chase have been enjoying snowboarding and looking forward to this weeks spring break from school to spend as much time as possible on the ski hill. Chase has been wrestling Jan-April and I'm sure we'll be looking for tournaments when ever we can since he'll be going into High School next year! There has been great competition out there for him and has put him in his place more then and few times (shows him that he needs to work on technique and adding muscle to 85pd. body!)
Connor has just started golf and been disappointed in his game so far, but it doesn't take him long to correct himself on what ever he works on. He's also looking forward to getting a job this spring so when his 16th birthday come around in June, he may have a chance of getting a car and a license!
Both Rashai and Britny have been working a lot and trying to get things lined up with college for the fall.
Rashai has been living at my parents home, it's a little closer to work and gives her a chance to make some of her own decisions without being fully supporting herself. She has also been accepted to the University on Montana! Rashai will be pursuing a nursing carrier!
Britny is waiting to here back from BYUI, hopefully within the next two weeks, but we did get her application and information in late for fall quarter, so it maybe longer than she would like before she gets to head off to college.
Greg and I just trying to keep afloat with life. I'm returning to SFCC for my third quarter, it's fun, but I do have my moments of crazy! Home, church, work, school, and family all have their demands and I wish I could keep up with it all. Greg's good about trying to keep up with the house and kids as I run in all different directions.
We're looking forward to summer weather and camping!

New Years Eve
After Greg and I ( w/friends) experienced The Melting Pot a couple times over the past 2 yrs. we decided it was it was time to try fondue for ourselves! What a better time than new years eve!
We did it right, two cheeses, two broths, and two chocolates.
We had neighbors, Greg's parents and some of the kid's friends over to our house. Of course I was worried if we'd have enough food for everyone, but their was plenty. At about 11pm we got out the Kinect and played Dance Central 2, Greg's got some great moves, lol!

.....December....
We did it! Last day of the quarter at SFCC! (with my friend Lori, she'll be graduating soon)
Travis, Alisha, makenna and payton made it in to town late Dec. 22nd. Nate and Julia invited both sides of the family out to dinner at the Onion, so we could all meet each other. Greg and travis are in deep conversation about sports.
Christmas Eve, before we headed to George and Deanna's
Christmas Eve with the Henry side of the family,
Deanna works so hard to make everything so special, thank you!
Christmas at our house in the morning:
Monday fun after visiting with Grandpa and Grandma Waide, we had an hour to jump at Sky High, I think the only one to make it the whole hour was my Dad, but some of that time was spend down on the mat!
.....Novemeber....
Thanksgiving at our house! Everyone ate well, even though mom bit it on the one stair I have in my house. One slip and she was down, she's OK, just a little sore, oh my! (no pics on that)

....October.....
Football Season! Connor was able to play JV and was a swinger for Varsity, he though he warmed the side line most of the time he did get at least one chance to play on varsity. He was also nominated for Home Coming Royalty!
Even though he didn't win (in Rashai's words) he looked really cool running of the field to join the team in the locker room.
....September....
Rashai and Britny get jobs and competing sandwich shops!
Back to school for everyone, even me! I've started school at Spokane Falls Community College in their Early Childhood Education Program, I then plan on continuing at WSU in Elementary Ed & Special Ed.
So far so good.
But instead of highlighting any of that here are some pics of our labor day camping trip on family property above Deer Lake, it's so pretty~
The kids are getting in some shooting practice before hunting season.
Dad trying to hook up their antenna for TV from their solar powered power strip, oh my!
While he's talking to Travis on the phone, HA HA!
Dutch oven cooking , so much fun~
Great view~
....August.....
Anual family camping trip to Silverwood! Now that we have a travel trailer, I'd have to say it's the best way to camp, love it! Randy and Erin came out to visit and Maddox got to have fun with the boys in the water area.
.....July.....
July was a busy month in the Henry Household. We got a chance to go visit with some of Greg's side of the Family at uncle Ken's 60th Birthday party, we always love visiting Uncle Ken and Aunt Patti and Greg's cousins Ryan, Kendra, Nick and spouses! They're a blast to be around, we laugh until we almost wet our pants!
(I also made Ken's Cake)
Then comes 4th of July, we head to the lake at George and Deanna's place for some fun in the sun!
And last but not least, Girls Camp 2011, even though I don't serve in Young Woman's anymore I always love going to girls camp! (They like me going too, because I do all the cooking!)

......May......
In May is the annual Prom for schools all over the place, and so goes the tradition around our house for Britny!
